Another Successful Tractor Run

41 Tractors left the Westmorland County Showfield on Sunday 27th August, to take part in Kent Estuary YFC’s Annual Tractor Run.  The event is organised to raise money for the British Heart Foundation, in memory of Andrew Denney who sadly passed away in 2017.

Tractors left the showfield for Arnside and travelled through Silverdale, Yealand and Wharton before heading to Kirkby Lonsdale for lunch, which was kindly provided by Liz Clarke.   They then went through Old Town, Gatebeck, Endmoor, Heversham, Levens and then up the Lyth Valley to finish in Underbarrow.

Kent Estuary YFC would like to say a massive “thank you” to everyone who helped make the day the success that it was.  The club is extremely grateful to their stewards for keeping them right and to Liz Clarke for her catering services.  The annual event just keeps getting bigger and better and this is shown by the amount of money the club has raised so far, with the money raised in the 2023 Tractor Run nearly totalling £1,000.
