Farming on the Fellside

In collaboration with the Farmer Network and the Fellfoot Forward Partnership Farming on the Fellside is a great new book written and illustrated by Melmerby resident Kay March.

The book is packed with facts about farming, giving a description of farming in the area, but will be of interest to anyone curious about farming and how their food is produced.

Farming on the Fellside also covers various aspects of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum.  The book is for sale at local bookshops, priced £6.99, so go grab yourself a copy today.

All the proceeds from the book sales are going to the Farmer Network to provide grants for local Cumbrian schools to do school/farm visits.
