Best Foot Forward

What an absolute pleasure it was for Furness Young Farmers last week to visit St Marys Hospice in Ulverston.  

St Marys were thrilled to receive a cheque for the marvellous amount of £500.00, which was raised from a sponsored walk from Canal Foot to Chapel Island with "Guide of the Sands" Raymond Porter.  St Marys would like to give everyone who took part a GREAT BIG St Mary's thank you.

St Mary’s Hospice provides care and comfort for patients living with any life-shortening illness or long term condition and their family.  They support people from the moment of diagnosis and their families for longer. 

St Mary’s vision is that everyone living with illness and death in South Lakes gets the kindness, love and expert care we’d wish for ourselves.
